Bangladesh now has access to the three-wheeler manufacturing industry due to the debut of the country’s first locally produced LPG and CNG-powered vehicles by Runner Automobiles Plc.
With the cooperation of Indian manufacturer Bajaj Auto, Runner has begun production of three-wheelers powered by LPG and CNG in Bangladesh for the first time. This plant was built on ten acres of land here at a cost of about 300 crore taka.
After meeting domestic demand, the authorities hoped to export the products, therefore the plant is expected to produce 30,000 LPG and CNG-powered vehicles annually.
