The market size for electrical accessories and lighting products is Tk6,000 crore, with an annual growth rate of 11.5%. Electrical accessories account for Tk3,300 crore, while lighting products make up Tk2,700 crore. Local players like Super Star, Walton, Click, and Energypac dominate, with international companies holding a smaller share. The study involved 2,016 end-users, 103 retailers, 99 electricians, and 5 industry experts across eight divisions. Challenges include grey market dominance, competition imbalance, lack of brand awareness, and quality control issues. Over 500,000 people are involved in the electrical industry, including 150,000 retailers and 2,500 small business owners.
