ACI Launches Bangladesh’s First Fortified Rice

ACI Foods Limited, a subsidiary of ACI Limited, has launched Bangladesh’s first-ever fortified rice under the ‘ACI Pure’ brand, addressing malnutrition and promoting public health. The launch event at ACI Centre, Tejgaon, Dhaka, was attended by prominent figures, including ACI Chairman M. Anis Ud Dowla, Managing Director Dr. Arif Dowla, Food Ministry Secretary Md. Masudul Hasan, and Faria Yasmin, Chief Business Officer of ACI Foods & Commodity Brands.

M. Anis Ud Dowla underscored ACI’s commitment to combating malnutrition, particularly among pregnant women and children, while Dr. Arif Dowla highlighted the rice’s potential to alleviate micronutrient deficiencies. Available in premium Jeerashail and Katari variants, ACI Pure Fortified Rice is enriched with essential nutrients like Vitamin A, B1, B12, Iron, Zinc, and Folic Acid, boosting health and well-being.
