Rajab Ali has been appointed as the new Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of the Expandichar Management Department-2 at the Bangladesh Bank headquarters. His appointment to the position of Executive Director was made by order of the Human Resources Department-1 of Bangladesh Bank’s headquarters. Rajab Ali has previously held various responsibilities in departments such as Banking Inspection Department, Foreign Exchange Policy Department, Economic Institutions and Markets Division, FSSPDI, and Currency Management at Bangladesh Bank. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees from the Institute of Social Welfare and Research at Dhaka University.
