The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has raised the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Tk 2.88 per kilogram and auto gas by Tk 1.58 per litre for October. As a result, the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder will now be Tk 1,456, an increase of Tk 35 from the previous month. The adjustment, reflects higher international costs, particularly the rise in the Saudi contract price, a key benchmark for LPG imports. Prices for other LPG cylinder sizes will also increase proportionally across the country.
