BRAC Skills Development Programme (SDP) and the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to identify market-relevant skills. By utilising BRAC’s capacity for grassroots outreach, the NSDA executive chairman underlined how the partnership might increase public awareness of technical training and practical skills.
As per the Memorandum, BRAC and NSDA will work together to carry out market research to determine the skills that employers are looking for, create inclusive training courses that are relevant to the workplace, and raise awareness of the value of skill development through training. They will also plan a variety of skill-building activities, like lectures and workshops. In addition, the agreement calls for collaboration in arranging agreements with pertinent businesses so that personnel certified by the NSDA may pursue job prospects overseas.
