BRAC Bank and the Chinese Enterprise Association in Bangladesh (CEAB) recently signed an agreement to establish a dedicated “China Desk” to better serve CEAB members. The China Desk, staffed by Mandarin-speaking professionals, will provide tailored support to the Chinese business community in Bangladesh. This partnership aims to enhance service offerings and provide CEAB members with access to BRAC Bank’s products and services at preferential rates.
The agreement signifies BRAC Bank’s commitment to expanding its business with Chinese investors and companies operating in Bangladesh. The bank has developed industry-specific solutions to cater to various sectors, demonstrating its dedication to meeting the unique needs of its clients. CEAB, with 280 large and medium-sized Chinese enterprises under its umbrella, has played a significant role in constructing critical infrastructure projects in Bangladesh, including highways, bridges, railways, and power facilities. This collaboration is expected to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Bangladesh and China, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
