Brain Station 23 Plc, an IT company, has withdrawn its Qualified Investor Offer (QIO) application scheduled for next month on the bourse’s SM Market. According to company secretary Anwar Hossain, the recent nationwide network shutdown negatively impacted the business, influencing the decision to withdraw. The company aims to avoid facing market uncertainties during this period. Earlier, the Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC) had approved the QIO on June 9, allowing Brain Station 23 to raise Tk 5 crore by issuing 50 lakh shares at Tk 10 each to eligible investors. The QIO was intended to create long-term financing opportunities in the SME sector.
