IDE Bangladesh, supported by Chevron, hosted the “Sustainable Agriculture Business and Empowering Entrepreneurs” program at the Rahman Community Center in Auskandi Union, Nabiganj Upazila. The initiative aimed to equip small and medium-sized agricultural entrepreneurs and rural development associations with technical knowledge and showcase innovative, eco-friendly agricultural technologies to enhance production and sustainability. Key figures, including the Deputy Commissioner of Habiganj and the President of Chevron Bangladesh, presented assistance to entrepreneurs. This project targets the economic empowerment of 110 cooperatives and 1,000 entrepreneurs, impacting around 42,000 people in Sylhet and Habiganj. About 160 entrepreneurs attended, forging connections with government and private sector representatives for future support, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to share their experiences.
