The prices of broiler chicken and beef rose in Dhaka, with broiler chicken prices increased by Tk 10 a kilogram, selling for Tk 200–210 per kilogram, and beef for Tk 730–750 per kilogram. Locally bred hens sold for Tk 550–600 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the price of mutton remained high at Tk 1,000–1,100 per kilogram.
Onions ranged from Tk 100-120 per kilogram, garlic from Tk 200–240 per kilogram, and rice from Tk 54–80 per kilogram. Vegetables saw slight decreases, with aubergine at Tk 60-80 per kilogram, papaya at Tk 30–40 per kilogram, and green chilies at Tk 60-70 per kilogram. Potatoes sold for Tk 30-40 per kilogram. Eggs were priced at Tk 44-50 per four pieces, while soya bean oil ranged from Tk 160–175 per liter.
Palm oil sold for Tk 135–140 per liter, atta from Tk 50–75 per kilogram, and red lentil from Tk 110–145 per kilogram. Imported ginger sold for Tk 200–220 per kilogram, and sugar ranged from Tk 140–160 per kilogram. Fish prices remained stable, with Rohita selling for Tk 300–400 per kilogram and Pangas for Tk 180–200 per kilogram. Salt sold for Tk 42 per kilogram.
