City Bank has once again earned the title of “Leading Partner Bank in Bangladesh” at the 2023 Trade and Supply Chain Finance Programme (TSCFP) Awards organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This recognition is a testament to City Bank’s outstanding performance as the most active partner bank in terms of trade finance transactions conducted in collaboration with ADB during the last fiscal year.
Impressively, this marks the fourth consecutive year that City Bank has received the “Leading Partner Bank” accolade. In 2019, the bank also secured the “Momentum Award” for the highest transaction growth in partnership with ADB. The award ceremony took place in Singapore, where the Executive Vice President and Head of Financial Institutions at City Bank, accepted the honor from Steven Beck, ADB’s Head of Trade and Supply Chain Finance.
City Bank has been actively participating in ADB’s TSCFP program as an Issuing Bank since 2016, facilitating international trade with the support of ADB’s guarantees and trade loans. The TSCFP operates with 82 banks in ADB’s member countries in Asia and the Pacific, with 16 banks in Bangladesh being part of this program.
