Daffodil Computers is venturing into international expansion by investing $50,000 to establish a branch of “Daffodil Global” in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company has received regulatory approval from Bangladesh Bank for the necessary fund transfers to support this strategic move.

The Dubai branch’s primary objective is to acquire international orders for software development, positioning Daffodil as a global IT solutions provider. Daffodil Global in Dubai will serve as a strategic outpost to enhance the company’s brand visibility through participation in international events and direct communication with global buyers. This expansion aims to tap into the growing IT industry in the Middle East.

While the Dubai branch focuses on business communication and sales aspects of their software and services, the core operational tasks will still be managed by Daffodil’s Bangladesh office. The investment seeks to diversify revenue sources and boost Daffodil Computers’ competitiveness in the global IT market. The project aligns with Bangladesh Bank’s regulatory guidelines and aims to open up new opportunities for the company’s growth. Daffodil Computers’ stocks are currently trading at Tk 92.10 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
