Denmark’s outgoing ambassador announced a proposed investment of $1.3 billion for the development of offshore wind energy in Bangladesh. Both parties praised the 50-year development partnership between Bangladesh and Denmark. The ambassador lauded the prime minister’s leadership in socio-economic development, while discussions also touched upon the growth of women’s sports and cooperation possibilities in the ICT sector and human development between the two countries.
