Denmark has expressed a strong interest in investing in Bangladesh’s port infrastructure, offshore wind energy, and the pharmaceutical sector, as revealed in a meeting between Danish Ambassador Christian Brix Moller and Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin. The foreign secretary welcomed the increasing interest from Danish companies and highlighted the interim government’s reform initiatives, expressing gratitude for Denmark’s support in areas such as governance, democracy, and human rights. Jashim underscored the significance of the longstanding bilateral relationship and emphasized the desire to transform it into a broad-based economic partnership focused on trade, investment, sustainability, and green transition. Both sides agreed to strengthen their bilateral relations for mutual benefit, with the Danish envoy congratulating Jashim on his recent appointment.
