Denmark’s IFU to Invest $12.5M in Bangladesh Pharmacy Chain

Denmark’s IFU will invest $12.5 million in AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals to expand its network of pharmacies and diagnostic centers, aiming to serve 8 million patients annually within three years. This investment, made through Denmark’s Investment Fund for Developing Countries, reflects confidence in Bangladesh’s progress. Currently serving 1.5 million people annually, AKS Khan plans to scale up to 100 outlets nationwide. Since 1990, IFU has invested €300 million in various Bangladeshi projects, focusing on impactful investments in health, infrastructure, and economic growth.
