DSE to Inspect Quest BDC’s Operational Business

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), with BSEC’s consent, will inspect Quest BDC Limited’s operational status. Formerly Padma Printers & Colour Ltd., it shifted to the OTC platform in 2009 due to declining business. LR Global Bangladesh acquired the sponsor-directors’ stake and plans to revive the company, renaming it Quest BDC. The company aims to transition into the IT sector, applying for listing on DSE’s SME platform. BSEC permitted DSE to inspect Quest BDC’s premises, with a report due within seven days. LR Global acquired a 51% stake, aiming to diversify into software development, financial services, and IT products alongside its existing printing business. Previously, LR Global acquired stakes in other companies, like Agni Systems Limited, demonstrating its interest in expanding its portfolio.
