According to the National Board of Revenue (NBR), total goods exports for the recently concluded fiscal year 2023-24 amounted to $44.93 billion, marking a 1.25% decrease compared to the previous fiscal year. In 2022-23, exports stood at $45.51 billion, while in 2021-22 they were $49.52 billion. This indicates a gradual decline in exports over the past two fiscal years. The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has not yet released the June export figures, which contributes to an incomplete picture of the current fiscal year’s export performance. NBR relies on EPB’s data and statistics for calculating export figures.
