Gemini Seafood Achieves Tk 27 Crore in Local Sales

Gemini Sea Food marked a significant shift in FY23 by earning Tk 27.36 crore from domestic sales, a first for the company. The FY23 financial report revealed a total income of Tk 77.65 crore, with Tk 47.01 crore from shrimp exports and Tk 27.36 crore from local market sales, compared to the entirely export-oriented revenue of Tk 77.07 crore in FY22.

The company’s net profits rose to Tk 9.44 crore from Tk 5.86 crore in 2022, leading to earnings per share of Tk 15.47 crore. Despite a 7.22% drop in share price to Tk 637.70, the company plans to raise its paid-up capital to comply with securities regulations, recommending a 20% cash dividend and 100% stock dividend for FY23.
