Grameenphone, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), is providing emergency support to flash flood victims. The company will distribute relief food to 10,000 families in the affected areas and set up five water treatment plants and five mobile medical teams to ensure safe drinking water and necessary healthcare. Additionally, Grameenphone is offering free 10 minutes of talk time and 500 MB of internet to residents in the flood-affected areas of Feni, Comilla, Noakhali, Moulvibazar, Khagrachari, Habiganj, Chandpur, Laxmipur, Rangamati, Brahmanbaria, and Chittagong to facilitate emergency communication; this offer can be activated by dialing *121*5050# and is valid for 3 days. The company is also providing mobile phone charging facilities at the nearest Grameenphone sites in disaster areas. Furthermore, Grameenphone employees are encouraged to contribute donations to support the affected communities.
