GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Ltd, a publicly listed non-bank financial institution, reported a Tk78.51 crore loss in the January-September 2024 period, with a consolidated loss per share of Tk5. The company also faced a Tk152.87 crore loss in 2023 due to high provisions against bad loans and has not declared dividends for two consecutive years. Its shares, downgraded to the Z category in September for failing to pay dividends, closed at Tk6 on Thursday, a 3.23% drop. The company’s net asset value per share fell 28% to Tk13.05. The annual general meeting is scheduled for 29 December.
