ICB Islami Bank Ltd faced significant losses amounting to Tk54.64 crore in 2023, more than double the Tk25 crore loss recorded in 2022. Consequently, the bank did not recommend any dividends to its shareholders for the year ended on 31 December 2023. The disclosed loss per share was Tk0.85 for 2023, compared to Tk0.38 in 2022. Despite this, the net operating cash flow per share remained positive at Tk0.82. The bank’s net asset value per share stood negative at Tk19.36. The bank’s annual general meeting is scheduled for 11 July, conducted through a hybrid system, with a record date of 9 May. Listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange since 1990, the bank’s shares are trading under the Z category due to its failure to pay dividends for years.
