ICT Industry Appeals for Tax Exemption Continuation Until 2031

The .bd country code top-level domain (ccTLD) in Bangladesh has struggled to gain popularity despite crossing one million registered domain names. Only 41,000 websites use .bd in their addresses, far fewer than in other countries like Sri Lanka and India. One major reason is that .bd requires a generic top-level domain (gTLD) like .com or .net before it, which many website owners find less attractive.
