IDRA Chairman Mohammad Jainul Bari Resigns

Mohammad Jainul Bari, chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), announced his resignation. Bari, who was appointed on a three-year contract in June 2022, will formally submit his resignation to the Financial Institutions Division. His decision comes amid a series of high-level resignations following the prime minister’s resignation on August 5. Bari previously served as secretary to the Planning Division before joining the IDRA.
