Women in Bangladesh are actively contributing to the nation’s self-reliant economy through a range of multifaceted activities. IFIC Bank, the country’s largest bank, has taken significant steps to provide women-friendly banking services in its branches. Recently, the bank conducted financial literacy programs in several branches, including Pragati Sarani, Narail, Mia Bazar, and Noapara, with the goal of engaging professional women in economic empowerment.
These events witnessed the participation of approximately 490 women, creating vibrant and inclusive banking environments. IFIC Bank plans to extend financial literacy programs to all its branches throughout the country. These initiatives empower women in various economic sectors and promote their active involvement in shaping a self-reliant economy.
