IFIC Bank PLC has revealed its new logo as it adopted the “PLC” suffix earlier this year. The new logo is designed with a policy to maintain a clear space around it to ensure clarity. Additionally, there is a specified minimum size for the logo, with a width of 1.5 inches.
The move to IFIC Bank PLC in March was prompted by a notice from Bangladesh Bank, aligning with an amendment to the Company Act 1994. The addition of “PLC” signifies that the bank is a public limited company, similar to publicly traded corporations in the US that use “Inc.” or “Corporation” in their names. This change in naming conventions helps communicate the public nature of the company to investors and stakeholders.
