IPDC Finance’s women entrepreneur loan product, IPDC Joyee, has partnered with Truvalu Bangladesh under the ‘Inclusive Growth: Gender Lens Investing (GLI) Programme in Bangladesh’. This collaboration aims to empower women entrepreneurs by providing comprehensive capacity development and gender-responsive financing. Truvalu will refer gender-focused enterprises to IPDC Finance for financing, enhancing access to credit. The partnership includes training sessions held at IPDC’s ‘Joyee 360’ sub-branch dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs. It focuses on improving financial literacy, business management skills, and overall business growth. The initiative underscores IPDC’s commitment to fostering gender-responsive investing in Bangladesh, facilitated by the GLI programme supported by the Embassy of Switzerland.
