The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for consumers. The cost of a 12 kg cylinder of LP gas has been reduced by Tk 49, from Tk 1,442 to Tk 1,393. Additionally, BERC has lowered the price of autogas. In May, the cost of autogas for consumers was set at Tk 63.92 per litre, including musk. Furthermore, the price of private LPG has been fixed at Tk 116 per kg, including musk, at retail points for consumers.
