The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) . The new price of LPG has been set at Tk 120.18 per kg, which is Tk 3.34 lower than the previous price of Tk 123.52 per kg. This price adjustment, effective from 6:00 pm on Wednesday, will lead to decreased household and commercial expenses.
As per the BERC announcement, the price of a standard 12kg LPG cylinder will now be Tk 1,442, reflecting a decrease of Tk 40 from the previous price of Tk 1,482. The adjustment in prices applies uniformly across various sizes of LPG cylinders, ranging from 5.5kg to 45kg, ensuring a proportional revision in prices for different consumer segments.
