The initiative targets challenges such as poverty, gender discrimination, social norms, and environmental hazards that hinder girls’ education. The launch ceremony included prominent guests, including officials from the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and representatives from Malala Fund Bangladesh. The Odommo project will focus on the char and haor regions, initially working with two schools and two madrasas with plans for expansion.
