Kimiwa Saddat has been appointed as the Managing Director (Current Charge) of Meghna Bank PLC, effective February 11, 2024. Previously serving as Deputy Managing Director, Saddat joined Meghna Bank PLC in 2019. He has over 21 years of experience in the banking industry, including roles in local, foreign, and multinational banks. Notable achievements under his leadership include the recognition of Meghna Bank Corporate Banking as a preferred choice among leading corporate entities and the bank’s receipt of the ‘Asian Banking and Finance Wholesale Banking Award, 2021’. Saddat holds certification as a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) from the Institute of Financial Consultants (IFC), Canada, and an MBA in Finance from Dhaka University. His expertise spans various banking domains, including corporate and SME credit, offshore banking, trade services, recovery solutions, and Islamic banking.
