In a seminar titled ‘Unleashing Economic Potential: Bridging Bangladesh and Mexico,’ organized by the Bangladeshi embassy in Mexico and Iberoamericana University, Mexico’s business community expressed interest in exporting halal meat to Bangladesh, aiming to bolster trade relations between the two nations.
Commerce Minister the chief guest, emphasized the need for enhanced business-to-business communication for expanding Bangladesh-Mexico trade. Notable speakers included additional secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and the president of the Asia and Oceania Division of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade.
Minister highlighted Bangladesh’s remarkable development under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s leadership and its economic resilience despite global challenges like the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the COVID-19 pandemic. The seminar aimed to strengthen economic ties and explore trade opportunities between Bangladesh and Mexico.
