PRAN has commenced tomato collection and pulping activities at its Barind Industrial Park. The company aims to procure 20,000 metric tonnes of tomatoes this season, sourcing from districts like Rajshahi, Natore, Chapainawabganj, Dinajpur, Pabna, and Naogaon. Around 10,000 contract farmers cultivated tomatoes across 2,500 bighas of land. The tomato pulp, processed using aseptic technology, will be used to produce sauces, ketchup, and other food items. PRAN has the capacity to produce 18,000 tonnes of sauces annually, and its products are in demand globally, with exports to countries like Malaysia, UAE, USA, Italy, and Sweden.
