One of the founders of Runner Automobile plans to sell 4.76% of his holdings, reducing his stake to 2.11% in the company. Holding 2.52 million shares, will sell 0.12 million shares, maintaining over 2% ownership, the regulatory requirement for directors. The reason for the sale is undisclosed. Runner Automobiles incurred significant losses of Tk 879.90 million in FY23, its first loss since FY19 listing. In FY24’s first six months, it faced a loss of Tk 273.7 million.
