Singer Bangladesh reported a net loss of Tk 185 million in Q3 2024 due to lower-than-expected sales amid political unrest and floods, compared to a Tk 87.7 million profit in the same period last year. EPS fell to -Tk 1.86, while sales grew 7% to Tk 3.6 billion. Finance costs surged to Tk 364 million, and the gross profit margin declined to 27.6%. NOCFPS turned negative at -Tk 7.36 per share. The company’s nine-month profit dropped over 92% to Tk 50 million despite an 8.4% sales growth. Shares fell 0.60% to Tk 134.6 following the earnings report.
