Social Islami Bank, in partnership with Western Union, has initiated a “Remittance Campaign” to promote remittance inflows through banking channels. The bank’s Managing Director and CEO inaugurated the campaign, highlighting the importance of remittances in the economy. The initiative aims to incentivize Bangladeshi expatriates to utilize banking channels for remittance transfers. Customers participating in the campaign will receive rewards, with one lucky winner granted the opportunity to perform Umrah. The bank’s Deputy Managing Director presided over the program, which saw the participation of key officials from both Social Islami Bank and Western Union, emphasizing their collaborative efforts to facilitate remittance transactions.
