The Republic of Korea has substantially increased its humanitarian aid to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. This year’s funding of $15 million, the largest amount provided since 2017, is being distributed through international organizations like UNHCR, IOM, WFP, and UNFPA.
The funds will be used for various humanitarian activities, including providing food, education, and support for Rohingya women and youth. The Korean Embassy hopes that this increased assistance will contribute to the implementation of the Joint Response Plan 2024 and ensure the delivery of essential aid to Rohingya refugees.
