Southeast Bank recently utilized its corporate social responsibility fund to provide financial aid to grassroots farmers across the country, assisting with their cultivation and the purchase of agricultural machinery. The assistance was facilitated through Community Development Centre (CODEC), a non-governmental organization. At a ceremony held at the bank’s Dhaka headquarters, a cheque was handed over to the director of the NGO. The event was attended by the bank’s managing director, along with deputy managing directors and other senior officials from both organizations.
