Square Toiletries Cuts Prices on 25 Products

Square Toiletries Limited has implemented price reductions on approximately 25 of its products due to the decrease in raw material costs on the global market. Notable price cuts include Meril milk soap bars, which now have a 150 gramme pack available for Tk 70 after a Tk 10 reduction. The 100 gramme pack is now priced at Tk 55, a Tk 5 decrease. Furthermore, discounts are being extended to Sepnil Handwash and Senora Sanitary Napkin. The 10-pad pack of Senora Sanitary Napkin is now Tk 80, down by Tk 20, while Sepnil Handwash is offered at a reduced rate of Tk 10.

Laundry detergent prices have also dropped; the 1,000 gramme Chaka Super White is now Tk 180, down by Tk 20, and the 1,000 gramme Chaka Advanced Washing Powder costs Tk 135, a Tk 10 decrease. The 200 gramme pack is priced at Tk 28, Tk 2 lower than before.

According to the head of the marketing of the company, the reduction in raw material prices as the driving factor behind the price cuts for about 25 products, a process that commenced in February. Among the specific changes, the cost of the 120 gramme Meril Glycerin has dropped by Tk 25 to Tk 115, and the 60 gramme pack is now priced at Tk 65, marking a reduction of Tk 15.
