Teletalk Introduces Trial Online SIM Service at Tk 250

Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, the state-owned mobile operator, has introduced a trial online SIM service as part of a commercial pilot program, starting on November 27. Initially available in 11 post offices across Rajshahi, Naogaon, and Chapainawabganj districts, the service integrates SIM distribution with the Bangladesh Postal Department’s extensive network. Customers can order preferred SIM numbers online and collect them from designated post offices for Tk 250 or opt for home delivery at Tk 300.

The service was inaugurated in Dhaka, attended by an adviser to Information and Broadcasting as the chief guest. This initiative aims to modernize and simplify SIM distribution, leveraging the postal network to enhance accessibility. Plans are underway to expand this service nationwide, showcasing Teletalk’s commitment to innovation and customer convenience while fostering collaboration between state entities.
