Titas Disconnect 200 Illegal Gas Connections

Titas gas authorities took action against illegal gas connections in Gazipur by disconnecting 200 such connections in the city corporation’s Itahanta area. During the operation, equipment used for illegal connections was seized. A mobile court, led by the Gazipur District Administration Executive Magistrate imposed fines totalling Tk 40,000 on an organization and Tk 157,000 on seven residential customers found guilty of illegal gas connections. The crackdown aims to curb unauthorized access to gas resources and ensure compliance with regulations regarding gas usage.
