The government anticipates securing $5.65 billion in budget support from the World Bank, IMF, and ADB this fiscal year to accelerate reforms. The IMF is expected to provide $3 billion, the World Bank $1.5 billion, and the ADB $1.15 billion, with around $3 billion potentially arriving by December. These funds will support governance improvements in banking and other sectors, contingent on conditions related to revenue, public expenditure, and data transparency. A delegation will attend the World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings to discuss loan terms, while the IMF will visit Dhaka in November to finalize reform conditions.
